The
original was found along with an esparto grass canteen cover, in the Mazarron
Roman mines, in Spain. A common canteen shape apparently. (Except in Britain)
from the early second century context.
The thickness I would guess would be around 6-7mm for the main body of
the vessel and around 5mm for the neck/rim.
The diameter of the vessel is 180mm (appx 7 inches)
The depth is in the region of 60mm (appx 2.5 inches)
